Performing Arts Day
Kennedy School and Kowloon Junior School both played host to this years Primary Performing Arts Day. On Thursday April 24th the island side schools all met at Kennedy School whilst on Friday April 25th the remaining ESF schools came together at Kowloon Junior.
Each school shared their talents by presenting short 15 minute performances. There was a large cross section of performance styles on display and the students enjoyed the opportunity to share their love of performing with students from the other various ESF schools. Performances included Hip Hop Dance, Traditional Chinese Dance, Recorder Ensembles, Orchestras, Chinese Orchestra, Choirs, Class Drama Presentations, Shakespeare, Drumming and even a Flash Mob.
Students at Kennedy School were lucky to be treated to a lesson in how to use your voice to beat box. They also had the chance to participate in a Visual Art activity during the break.
Our sincere thanks go to Mr. Davenport, Dr. Knight and all the support staff at the hosting schools. Thanks also go to all of the other staff members who worked with their students to help develop their talents. It was truly inspirational to see what our amazingly talented students are working on across the foundation.

Several schools also took part in the visual arts activity. Students were invited to add their own drawing to a bigger piece of artwork. The theme for the artwork was what inspires us to express ourselves. Below are pictures from Shatin and Kennedy school's collaborative visual arts project.
