East Vincent Elementary School
GREETINGS FROM MS. SEELEY
Only One You by Linda Kranz is a story that celebrates individuals and their ability to come together to make something beautiful and meaningful.
At East Vincent Elementary School, we have 592 individuals, ages 5-12 who inspire us each day with their uniqueness. When they come together, they too make something beautiful and meaningful... they make our EV community of learners.
Over the next couple of weeks, each student at EV will paint their own unique rock inspired by the book. The Only One You rock painting project is sponsored by Owen J. Roberts High School student, Rachel Arp who coordinated the project, including fundraising, for her Girl Scout Gold Award project.

Quick notes…
*Remind your child to bring a recycled shirt
*Painted rocks will be placed in our art/library courtyard area when finished

DOES YOUR CHILD WISH TO PLAY AN INSTRUMENT?
Is your 2nd through 5th grade child interested in playing a string instrument next year?
Is your 3rd through 5th grade child interested in playing a band instrument next year?
If you answered yes to either or both of these questions, please join us for a Band and Strings Parent Night at the Middle School on May 29th at 7PM to meet our band and string teachers, get more information about our band and string programs and register your child to play an instrument for next year.
This meeting is for beginning students only. If your child currently plays a band or string instrument that they intend to continue next year, you do not need to attend this meeting.
We look forward to seeing you May 29th!

On May 14, 2019, the East Vincent Reading Olympics team participated in the Chester County Reading Olympics competition. In preparation for the event, each member of the team committed to reading a set of books from the 45-book CCIU Reading Olympics book list. They met with their coaches, Mrs. Rittenhouse and Mrs. Sarkar, to review the content and prepare for the event. During the 3-round quiz style competition on Tuesday, they answered questions about the books and earned a white ribbon.
