We A Can Change Lives Together!
You Can Make A Difference!
The adult lives of today’s students will be full of choices. They will be opening bank accounts, saving and borrowing money, investing and insuring their assets. At CCEE, we want to help give our students the tools they need to make truly informed decisions. We want to help provide an education that will prepare them for their adult lives.
On September 7th, CCEE and the Cal State Fullerton Center on Economic Education hosted a professional development, to provide Orange County teachers from low income schools the training, curriculum and resources they need to teacher economics and personal finance. Unfortunately, we reached capacity and had to turn some teachers away. With your support we will be able to welcome every teacher who needs help teaching these critical lessons.

The California Council on Economic Education is pleased to announce the California State Legislature signing of AB 166, implementing personal finance into high school curriculum. We want to take the time to recognize our Executive Director, Dr. Jim Charkins and Board Member Rohn Trieglaff for their continued advocacy and collaboration with our state assembly members to pass this bill.

Meet CCEE
The CCEE solution is to better prepare students for life by helping to educate them on economic principles, the economy and personal finance. Our primary focus is the high school required economics course. Although our materials are available and used by K-12 educators in English Language Arts, Mathematics and History/Social Studies, our focus remains high school teachers. It is our mission to reach all students in California especially underserved communities.
