Walk-A-Thon
This week, we are sending home information about collecting addresses from friends and family members. Students should return these address forms by Friday, September 9th. Once the sheets are turned in, you are done! It is that SIMPLE! Thank you so much for your efforts!
Anti-Bullying Campaign
MSD of Martinsville kicks-off an "Anti-Bullying Campaign" Tuesday, September 6, 2022. A district-wide newsletter and various curricular activities will educate and inform our
community about identifying, understanding the effects of, and what to do about bullying. Students will also sign a pledge to stop bullying. Please look for more information from us in September.
Background Checks
*Please note: We are no longer allowing visitors during lunch. Thank you for your understanding.
Arrival and Dismissal Procedures (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday)
- Doors open at 8:25AM (we do not have staff members available to supervise students before 8:25) Please DO NOT drop them off at the door prior to 8:25.
- Door 2 (by the cemetery) & Door 8 (by the car wash) are both options for drop off. It is your preference on which door you would like to drop your child off at. Please pull up along the sidewalk before letting your child out of the car. DO NOT allow your child to cross in front of cars. If your child is in preschool, kindergarten, or first grade, we would prefer that you drop off and pick up at Door #2.
Dismissal:
- Walkers will be dismissed out Door 2 & Door 8 first at 3:30PM.
- Next, the students riding buses and daycare vans will dismiss out of Door 2 at 3:35PM.
- Finally, car riders will be dismissed. If you are picking up your child, grades PK-1 (and older siblings) will be picked up at Door 2. Students in grades 2-4 will be picked up at Door 8. Please stay in your car as we will bring your child out to you.
WELL Wednesdays - Arrival Time & Dismissal
*You will follow the same dismissal procedures as listed above.
