Balance
When both sides of an artwork on either side of the horizontal or vertical axis of the picture plane are exactly (or nearly exactly) the same the work is said to exhibit this type of balance. It is also a principle that deals with the visual weight of an artwork.

Claude Monet was a famous French painter. He specialized in impressionism which captured light and natural forms. He was born November 14, 1840 in Paris. He dealt with poverty and depression nearly all of his life and died in 1926. He is said to be one of the most famous painters in the history of Art.
