The Day in the Life of Pointe Shoes

"Dancing is the closets thing to magic."

History of Pointe Shoes

These ballet shoes were invented in the year of 1832. The art of ballet was developed 200 years before the pointe shoes was developed. The first ballet shoes were worn by the dancers of the Royal Academy of Dance. The first dancers to rise up onto their toes did so but with the invention of Charles Didelot in 1795. Depending on the dancers, they dance between 2 to 12 hours with their lastings of their shoes.

Relating my life to pointe shoes

How I relate to these shoes is because I dance, and these shoes are used for dancing. No, i don't dance ballet, but these shoes aren't just the only ones made for dancing.
