Safety Tips
- Make sure you have an updated class list in your evacuation folder
- Look over your evacuation routes so that know your primary and secondary routes
- If you need a standard response protocol poster, let Jordan know
- If you feel like learners are in danger on the playground or outside, please make sure to get them inside quickly as if you were following the lock-out procedure
Learner Led Conferences- October 5th
Learner-Led Conferences is a District Expectation.
October 5th is a campus day for conferences. Obviously, you may need to have some before or after that date in order to squeeze them all in.
Please keep a sign-in sheet or list for documentation (for Title I), and give to Cooper when finished.
There is tremendous power to learner goal-setting and the opportunities that learner-led conferences provide. Need help getting started? Just ask!
Reading Buddy Information and Process
- We have a campus process (coordinated through Dr. Hickey) to ensure that all parties (student, teacher, volunteer) are protected any time volunteers are working with our learners. Please ensure that you follow the necessary steps and coordinate w/ Dr. Hickey anytime you are making arrangements. It is unacceptable to partner students with volunteers (ie Reading Buddies) without alerting Dr. Hickey and completing the necessary parent permission paperwork.
- Reading Buddy Training Presentation

Notes from Jordan
- 3-5th CTT Agendas- Each team is responsible for their CTT agenda starting this week. If you don't mind, the only thing we ask that you add is reviewing your SMART goal.
- 3-5 Intervention-We are getting closer to our start date for our interventionist!!! Whoo Hoo!! During K-2 CTT, I was able to provide a list of learners who would be seeing an interventionist. Unfortunately, this week I will be off campus at training this week for 3-5 CTT time. I will be planning to meet with each team the week of the 17th to discuss learners who will be seeing an interventionist and to look at their data.
- K-2 Intervention- I know most of you are still gathering BOY data. I have created a spreadsheet to help group learners and provide data to our interventionist. I will email that out sometime this week. When you gather data, will you do me a HUGE favor and input data for your learners who will be seeing an interventionist. I know that there are forms in Aware, but we want to provide each interventionist with the most recent data.
