FMS Connections
Connect with your Frontier Family!
Greetings, Frontier Families!
It's been an extremely interesting two weeks, and we hope your families are doing well and staying healthy. While distance learning is a new endeavor, we are excited to "return" from Spring Break and connect with our students. Beginning Monday, March 30th, we will start on our continued learning plans, which includes virtual learning through review of past topics. The following week, we will begin to transition to the virtual learning of new material. Teachers will be in contact with you and your students by this coming Monday morning so that students are prepared for the week ahead. Teams and teachers will provide details about class structure, expectations, etc. and are available for any questions you might have. Please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teachers, counselor, or administrator if you need help navigating this new process. We're here to help in a variety of ways, and we want to make this transition as easy as possible for each of our families.
A few items to note:
- The WSD Technology Department will be in contact with families soon to provide information about questions and repairs.
- The WSD Child Nutrition Department is serving breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday for WSD students via a drive-thru at Liberty High School from 11:00-12:30.
- If your child isn't able to engage in virtual learning (limited or no internet access), please let us know. (We were able to check with students prior to our closure, but if you have additional concerns, please let us know.)
- The FMS building is currently closed, and all staff members are working remotely. If you have questions or concerns, email is the best way to contact us. If you're unable to utilize email, you can call and leave a voicemail, and those will be checked remotely.
- If you have important items (paper/pencil assignments, medications, Chromebook chargers, etc) to retrieve from FMS, please see the note below and fill out the linked form. Pick up will be on Monday, March 30th from 12:00-5:30 pm at FMS. Students and families will drive up to the front entrance of FMS at the Parent Pickup Line, and an administrator will retrieve and load the requested items. Please see the link below for details.
