Eighth Grade Confirmation Retreat
Yesterday, the Eighth grade class visited Immaculata La Salle High School to prepare for Confirmation, which takes place on Saturday, January 18th. The students at La Salle were very welcoming! Prior to starting the retreat, we were provided with name tags and found our group leaders. Our group leaders, led us and showed us the way of Christ. We started off with an ice breaker. Then, the students were taken for a delicious lunch at the school cafeteria. After this, they were allowed to go outside and play for a while. We went inside the Youth Center and were given a speech about how if we put God first, everything will happen according to his will. The students ended the day by going to the Chapel and having a few moments of silence and reflection. We returned to the St. Agatha Campus enlightened and filled with the Holy Spirit. The students were spiritually ready to receive the sacrament of Confirmation.

Super Kids Super Sharing
The Super Kids Sharing Project took place on January 16, 2020 at the St. Thomas University. St. Agatha students donated gently used books, sports equipment, and games to local community schools in need. When the student representatives arrived at St. Thomas, there were many other students from different schools who also participated. We worked for about an hour sorting supplies that everyone had donated. After sorting the supplies, we were surprised by the Dolphin's mascot. As a reward for donating supplies, he played football with us. I wish this event happened in our city every year. It was a blast!
