What is a RAM?
The RAM is a Random- Access Memory. Is a computer data storage. A random-access memory device allows data items to be read and written in roughly the same amount of time regardless of the order in which data items are accessed.
Who invented it?
Robert Heath Dennard Watson Research Center in 1968 invented RAM
He said "Its the brain of the computer, It remembers everything on it. A wonderful little machine"
It was originally called DRAM but shortened it to RAM!!
He was an American electrical engineer and inventor. Dennard was born in Terrell, Texas, U.S.. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, in 1954 and 1956, respectively
