DESSA Window open October 22- November 3rd
The window for the Fall 2019 administration of the Devereux Student Strengths Assessment (DESSA) will open on Tuesday, October 22nd and continue through Sunday, November 3rd. We will use Form 1 for Fall 2019. We will also be using Form 1 for the Spring 2020 assessment.
The directions for logging in are attached. Please have all of your DESSA information in by Sunday, November 3rd by the end of the day.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this very important social-emotional screener on your students. The information is valuable for all of us since it can give us information on how our students are performing socially and emotionally and assist us in determining interventions that target individual student needs. Please contact your School Psychologist or School Social Worker if you have any questions about the DESSA.
Parent Teacher Conference Preparations:
The on-line conference sign up window will start on Thursday, November 7th and close on November 15th. A parent letter will be mailed home on Thursday, October 31st with instructions on how to schedule conference times.
You may go into Skyward & put in any conferences you scheduled or block a time you are not available. Conference spots are 20 minutes long and are open from 1:00-4:00pm and 5:30-8:00pm. Same as last year, everyone has their own schedule for parents to sign up on.
