Oceans of Fun with Summer Learning!
Welcome to WCPS Summer Learning! Each week, activities and resources will be shared that will make summer learning fun and engaging for your child. Each week will be characterized by a particular theme and this week's theme is "Under the Sea." Students will engage in activities that relate to the ocean and marine life. Let's dive in for some summer fun!

WCPS Summer Reading Challenge
"Dive deep" with a pile of books and find your favorite spot to read. Our summer reading challenge is underway! If you need more books to stack up and read, check out our e-library. There is a wide variety of books to "sea". Don't forget to keep track of all the books you read using your WCPS Summer Reading Bookshelf. So, catch the next wave and enjoy a good book.

Table Talk Math-It's a Hit!
If you haven't had a chance to try out this new resource, check it out! Table Talk Math is an online resource! It will will help to reinforce the grade level content that your child learned this year and some content they will learn as they move to the next grade level. This resource is FREE to all students entering Grades 2-6 in the fall. Once you sign up, you can begin courses immediately. What do seals, sea turtles, and hammerhead sharks all have in common? They all rely on the ocean for their survival! Many people also rely on the ocean for seafood, transportation and entertainment.
