An Eagle Pride Makeover for the Jr/Sr High School Entrance

Big image
Each year we try to surprise our students with something special for their first day of school. This year, we decided to show our Eagle Pride everywhere we could - starting with our Jr/Sr High Entrance. Mrs. Donovan and Mr. Healey secretly designed an entry way that demonstrates the culture of academic excellence and pride we promote here at Galway. The planning process required tracking rack down professional photographer, Murdo Macleod in Scotland, who graciously gave our school the rights to use his amazing photo of the Golden Eagle!

Complete with our giant eagle, new furniture, flags recognizing our foreign exchange students (past and present) and staff who hail from other countries, pictures of our students in action, and plaques displaying the number of students earning honor roll, high honor roll, and academic scholar status; our entry way sends the message that we are all Eagles and we are proud to be members of the Galway Jr/Sr High Community!
