Principal's Message
We have, at least for now, dodged a 10" snowfall and temps are predicted to be in the 40s and 50s in the week ahead. What this really means is that spring just might be a reality and that families will want to start taking note of all that will be happening at Lincoln in the last quarter. The Lincoln spring calendar is always packed with events . . . please be sure to update your calendars regularly, and don't hesitate to contact our office if you have any questions or are unsure of a date.
Please be sure to consider attending the Community Form on March 5. District 57 Board Members and administrators will explore results of the satisfaction survey given in the fall. Questions related to the aging middle school building will be discussed as well. The forum will be held in the Lincoln LRC at 7pm.
Mr. Suminski

Question: Does a parent or guardian have to let the office know if they have made arrangements for an emergency contact to pick up their son or daughter?
Answer: Yes! Adults listed as your emergency contacts may remove your son or daughter from class during the school day - but only of the parent/guardian has notified the front office beforehand. The school must be able to document that the parent/guardian has knowledge of their child’s dismissal during the school day. Also, as much as we try to remember everyone, please do not be offended if we ask for identification before releasing a student to an adult. Thank you.
