Thank you Tiffany Ridge!
A huge thank you to our Tiffany Ridge families who responded to our Trick or Treat Food Drive. This was a success with both in person and online families donating snack items for our students in need. THANK YOU to all who donated! These donations are welcome year round. If you would like more information, please reach out to Gayle Laney, TR Social Worker.
2nd Semester Student Enrollment
At last week's Board of Education meeting, information was shared about the process for families to select a learning option for second semester. Be prepared that, for this year, your student may or may not have the same teacher and/or classmates for the second semester that have been in place for the first semester. In addition, Park Hill has added some answers on the website to clarify some things. Click HERE to link to more details.
- Timing of the enrollment window (October 29-November 13)
- What to do if you want to stay with the same learning option and what to do if you want to switch
- Possibility of getting a new teacher second semester
- Date for receiving notice of second-semester teacher and schedule
- Effects on schedules and IEPs
- Possible changes for staff
What is an AMI (Alternate Method of Instruction) Day?
Dr. Rios will email ALL Tiffany Ridge Families at 8:00am to let them know that they and their students will receive communication from their child's classroom teacher no later than 9:15am. Your student's teacher will communicate learning plans for the day, including any times for zoom meetings and the specific learning plan for your students. For more information, see details at the link HERE.
Art to Remember
Our school is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child's art. There are over 60 products and many are less than $15. These make great gifts and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school. Click on the link below and enter the online order code shown on your child's order form or to search for your child's artwork. Then, have fun shopping!
Order forms will be sent home Friday, October 30th.

2020 Major Saver "contactless" Fundraiser
Major Saver cards are available for purchase to obtain some great discounts at local businesses. Sales of the cards provides a benefit for the Education Foundation AND Tiffany Ridge Elementary! Major Saver will adhere to all district requirements to insure the health and safety of your students and staff at all times.
Students will view a digital/video kickoff on the morning announcements on November 4th and bring home the envelope with sales information.
Students may return any sales packets to school until November 17th. Students who are participating in remote/online learning will have the ability to participate via an “online campaign.” Cards will be mailed directly to the customer on a daily basis. Student prizes will be dropped of at each home school for a parent pick-up at a later date.
Thanks again for your continued support of the Park Hill School District Education Foundation.
Academic Support Via Zoom
Looking for some academic support for your online or in-person learner? Tiffany Ridge is offering weekly zoom sessions, Thursday mornings from 7:30 – 8:30am.
These sessions will be hosted by Ms. Rowe, 5th grade teacher. Please email Ms. Rowe at rowek@parkhill.k12.mo.us with specific needs and she will set up the zoom session and support for you! These support sessions will begin second quarter.
October Curriculum Connections
Check out the linked Curriculum Connections below to see what our Timberwolves will be working on in each subject area during the month of October! We want to share the learning topics at all of the grade levels so that you are familiar with what topics and content are taught this month! Your child's teacher is always happy to provide more details should you have questions!
Reflections Arts Program
We want to encourage your Timberwolf to unleash his or her inner artist through PTA’s Reflections Arts Program! This year’s theme “I Matter Because…” calls for your child’s own unique interpretation through the arts. This is your child’s chance to express him or herself through one of six categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts. Click here to watch the Promotion Video. Entries are due to your child’s classroom teacher or the front office by Thursday, November 5th.
The flyer and Reflections packet are attached. There will also be a paper form in your child’s backpack. Online students can fill this out and submit online or stop by the office for a paper packet. Should you choose to fill it out online, save it and send it to: hobana@parkhill.k12.mo.us.
- Any student (Kindergarten-5th grade) is eligible to participate.
- Participants in this year’s program will receive a treat from the Park Hill Nutrition Services courtesy of our PTA following the submission deadline.
- In addition, winners will receive awards and recognition. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners will advance to the Missouri State PTA Reflections Program. If chosen for 1st place in the Missouri State PTA then those winners will move on to the National PTA Reflections Program where additional prizes and awards are given.
Join PTA!
It’s not too late to become a member of our wonderful Tiffany Ridge PTA! Joining PTA does not commit you to help with anything specifically, but it helps give back to the school in many ways, funding a birthday book for every student, the Reflections Program, classroom grants, and much more! You can pay online or send in cash or check (payable to Tiffany Ridge PTA). A big thank you to our business members. Any business can also sign up and pay using these links!
