In addition to volunteering, parent visitors may check-in to the front office with your drivers license to receive your Visitor's Badge, and proceed around the exterior of the building to the bike safety course in the back parking lot.

PTA Volunteer and Visitor Guidelines

Humble ISD VOLUNTEERS make a significant contribution to the education of children. We LOVE our BBE volunteers!

Join our fabulous BBE PTA today!

For the safety of our students and staff, all Humble ISD volunteers need to complete a short online application prior to volunteering on a campus.

Thank you for everything you do for our school!

VISITORS are welcome to have lunch with your students on Fridays, or on the student's birthday or half-birthday (for summer birthdays). Visitors may also be invited to attend special pre-planned events throughout the school year. Please watch for these dates to be published on the website and in the Buzz. Visitors are required to enter the front of the school and check-in to the front office with your driver's license for identification.

Open PTA Positions

PTA is a great way to show your child how much you value their education and support their growth and development. BBE PTA is currently looking for volunteers to help chair the following committees. Volunteers can be parents, grandparents, neighbors, anyone who would like to support the students and staff at our school! You only need to submit a short volunteer application.

Box Tops / Amazon Smile / Kroger Community

This is a great position for a working parent. This chair is responsible for raising awareness of the Box Top / Amazon Smile / and Kroger Community programs and Apps that raise funds for our PTA that are used to buy supplies for Art, PE, and Music.

Reflections is an annual contest sponsored by the National PTA where students are challenged and encouraged to produce an original artistic entry via literature, musical composition, photography, visual arts, dance choreography, and film production to interpret the year’s theme. BBE students are encouraged to participate. Responsibilities include organizing and publicizing the Reflections contest, gathering entries, securing an independent panel of judges to select the winning entries, announcing the winners in the Buzz, and arranging for the 1st place winners to attend the next levels of the competition. This years theme is “I will change the world by . . . “

Please contact Meghan Robertson at for more information.

Counselor's Corner

Wisdom Wednesdays

Parents, every Wednesday we promote college awareness at BBE. Students will have the opportunity to watch college promo videos or videos from BBE alumni sharing where they attended college. Please encourage your child to join us by wearing a college or military t-shirt each Wednesday. All our Bears have bright futures!

Personalized Counseling in Humble ISD

We know that each student is unique in their educational journey, and we're working to know individuals better in order to promote school and lifelong success. By working to remove non-counseling duties from our school counselors, we're better able to provide a more personalized approach to the counseling experience. This includes guidance lessons for all students, small group and individual counseling services for students needing support, individual planning through 1:1 individual meetings, and system support where we partner with the school, parents, and the broader community to support students in their journey. Click here to learn more about the personalized counseling experience from Dr. Fagen and Dr. Leigh.

The Annual Update in your Home Access Center account is required each year for the re-enrollment of returning students. Please upload a new proof of residency directly into your Annual Update application.
