SIDS
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome
Two Statistics about SIDS
SIDS is also called ''crib death'' or "cot death" because the crib environment is usually the leading cause of sudden infant death syndrome
A child that is in a smoking environment is 3 times more likely to die of SIDS then a baby who does not.
Two rules to follow
1. Do not lay child on stomach while sleeping, this will cause the baby to stop breathing
2.Child should not have anything in crib with them. For example: blankets, pillows, stuffed animals
