Farewell Herbert Carter.
Ethan Blanco
Herbert Carter is one of the bravest american heroes.
In paragraph 2 page 1, achieve 3000 states, " Carter and his fellow Airmen faced a great deal of prejudice. The Airmen had to train as a segregated unit. They were not allowed to fight or practice alongside white pilots." This means that there were more problems on his hands, and the segregation was difficult to handle.
Herbert Carter was and always will be an american hero. He did what he wanted to do. He fought for our country. He fought in World War II. He was African american so he didn't have the same right as others. Blacks and whites were still segregated. He died in October 2012. He will be missed.
