The US in WWI

American Mobilization
The US prepared itself for WWI in many ways. Organizations such as the food and fuel administrations told the citizens to conserve their food and fuel in efforts to get such items to troops in Europe. The War Industries Board was created to coordinate the purchases of war supplies and also for labor disputes. Propaganda was used to make eligible men go to war, which boosted the military draft. Lastly, the US sold war bonds where the money from the purchase would go the military, and you'd make a certain amount of money back in a certain amount of time.

American Expeditionary Forces
The AEF were the US forces in Europe from World War One. They fought alongside our allies, Russia, Britain, and France, during World War One. They were fighting against the Central Powers, which included Germany, Hungary-Austria, The Ottoman Empire, and Bulgaria. One of the most notable commanders of the time was General John Pershing.

Wilson's 14 Points
Woodrow Wilson created points to be used as a negotiation stance for World Peace after World War One. They were his plans for peace for after the war. He created these points going into the war so they could fight for moral goals instead of the same ambitions as the Europeans.
