TIGER WEEKLY- FAIR CAMPUS
Week of 11/2/2020
A Message for A+ Families
A+ Arts Academy staff are thrilled to welcome scholars back in our buildings on Monday, November 9th. It is hard to believe that we will have scholars back in classrooms again after several months! Teachers and scholars will be adjusting to new procedures and protocols, while also adapting to a new model of instruction.
Please note that should Franklin County ever reach a Level 4 - Purple, as per the Ohio Advisory Public Health System, ALL A+ AA scholars will engage in 100% remote learning (current model).
Color codes are updated weekly on Thursdays and can be checked by visiting Ohio Public Health Advisory System. On Thursday, November 5th, if Franklin County increases to a Level 4 - Purple - hybrid learning will NOT begin until the county is placed at a Level 3 or below.
Benefits of the hybrid model:
● It allows families the option for their scholars to receive in-person learning and engage in socially-distanced safe activities.
● Scholars will continue to have access to all curriculums.
● As we have started virtually, both scholars and teachers will have had time to acclimate to this model before adding in the hybrid piece.
THANK YOU for allowing us to serve your scholars. We appreciate the immense support that our families have shown to staff and scholars so far this school year. We will continue to monitor this evolving situation and keep you updated on any actions we take to ensure the safety of our scholars and staff.
