Parking Lot Morning Drop Off
Over the past week or so we have noticed potentially unsafe situations beginning to happen while families are dropping students off in the morning. While arriving at school, several students have gotten out of their cars while on 4th Avenue, or in the parking lot, before their vehicle is at the front of the line.
Please remember that if you choose to drop your child off at the parking lot drop off zone enter the parking lot and drive all the way to the end of the curb. Your child must remain in the vehicle until a staff member directs them to come into the building. This is for everyone's safety.
If your child needs more time exiting the vehicle, please pull into a parking space and walk your child along the sidewalk.

General COVID-19 Protocol Updates
Thank you all for the patience and determination it takes as we work through the protocols required to be able to have students in school five days a week, all day! For the time being, we are asked by OHA and ODE to implement the following:
- Utilize outdoor eating options (breakfast and lunch outside)
- Encourage students to wear masks outside or stay 6ft apart
- Remain 3ft apart in classrooms
- Utilize outdoor spaces as best as possible
We encourage students to bring layers of clothing as the weather begins to change.
Canby School District Families,

The Playground is OPEN!!!
Our beautiful, new playground is now open for recess! We enjoyed a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday and then had a chance to play and play and play! Thank you to our Canby Community voters for passing a bond so that we can enjoy a safe and fun playground for everyone to enjoy. This is a tremendous experience that our children will remember well into adulthood.
