The PBIS behavior matrix is a chart that communicates Ramsey Middle School's expectations for positive behaviors for students during Distance Learning 2.0. It aides teachers and administrators in teaching, modeling, and reinforcing PBIS in all of the areas of learning including the Schoology, Google Meets, iPad usage, and home.

Ramsey Resiliency for Families
You made it through September! Think of all the things you have learned about Distance Learning and how far you've come. Right?! As we go forward we get stronger, and that is called Resiliency! Lean on each other, lean on us- we are in this together! Mrs. Knetsch, School Social Worker.

Schedule Changes: With a robust Ramsey enrollment starting to settle down, Counselors are able to take a deeper look at class sizes and begin to reduce classes that are over the maximum allowed students. What this means is that some students will see changes in their schedule. We are anticipating that this will effect less than 10% of our students, those of which we will contact individually to explain the changes. We encourage students and families to reach out to the counselors directly with any questions you may have. Thank You.
Quarter One Mid-term Grades: With quarter one mid-terms already upon us and conferences being held virtually this year, we want to inform families that mid-term grades can be viewed via Schoology. Students and families who would like to request a mid-term grades report should email the counselors or any grade level administrators and we will be happy to send an electronic copy right over to you. Thank You. Barbie Woodruff:

The monthly library newsletter will be coming out soon - keep an eye out for an email with a link to library tips and tidbits! RMS Contactless Curbside Library Check-Out is coming soon. Students will be able to place books from the school library on hold and pick them up Thursday mornings. More info to come...
Digital Media Explorations Update:
This week we spent time thinking about how we learn best. The class shared their learning preferences and tips for learning strategies that work for them. They also told me what they need from me to be successful. Next week we will begin our first unit on the media's role in our lives. Parents, you can help your scholars start thinking about the media by having conversations about where you get news and what kinds of tech tools you use to find out information. Use the #TableTalk conversation starters to help begin that conversation!
