I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing break. It was so nice to see everyone’s smiling faces today. Can you believe we are half-way through the school year already?

The second quarter will end on Thursday, January 6th and then on Friday, January 7th, the third quarter begins. Please look for your child's report card to come home and also be published on Focus on Thursday, January 13th.

Hopefully you received the email that BPS sent out regarding current Covid information and protocol. Sherwood Elementary will continue to follow all district guidance. Here are some highlights:

• Facemasks are strongly encouraged for adults and students while on BPS property. We realize this is a choice and not a requirement, but masks remain a valuable tool to stop the spread of COVID-19. We have masks available daily.

The Sherwood Elementary School Improvement Plan is now available on the school's website for viewing. Click the link to view Sherwood Elementary's 2021-2022 School Improvement Plan (SIP). This document is also available for viewing in Sherwood's Title I Parent Folder located in the main office.
