Principal's Message
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year at Pleasantville Elementary School!
Good Afternoon PLV Families -
We hope families had a wonderful long weekend with your Friday off! While the students were off, our teachers were participating in professional development. KN, 1st and 2nd grade teachers continued to learn more about their new ELA curriculum CKLA and had time to plan and collaborate with other teachers across the district. Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th teachers participated in all day state-wide math professional development with amazing authors and speakers: Dr. Tanji Reed-Marshall, Dr. Jo Boaler, and Dr. Pam Seda.
Shout out to PLV's Nutrition Ladies!! They planned an amazing 70s Peace, Love & Groovy Week. Delaware First Lady Tracey Quillen-Carney and her staff enjoyed the fun performance and mentioned that our PLV students were excellent in the cafe!!
