Parent Education Speaker
Juliet Funt:
Raising Family Connection Through Reclaiming WhiteSpace
Thursday, April 21
6 -8:00pm
A family is not that different from a corporation. We want our “team” to be effective, engaged and satisfied. But like most professionals, families can feel overwhelmed by the amount of tasks that assault us every day. We are too busy to think and so are our overloaded, multitasking, screen addicted kids.
In this high-energy session, Juliet Funt will help us tackle these problems by sharing some of the tools she has built for both the corporate world and families from coast to coast. We will explore how the creation of WhiteSpace - the open, unscheduled time of the day- can bring enormous creativity and connection.
Lastly we explore The WhiteSpace Simplification Questions — four simple inquiries that provide endless insight and positive reframing around even the toughest individual and family overload hurdles.
Please register for the event on the parent portal or through last week's Maywire. Light refreshments will be served and childcare with pizza dinner is available for $5.
8th Grade Reach Out: St. Francis Center
Student ambassadors to St. Francis Center on Tuesday, April 12 will be Evy, Aidan, Serafina, and Paige. Ms. Danni will meet you in front of the school at 6:45am. For the complete schedule and more information on our Reach Out, please click here.
