Open House 5th Graders!
Come experiance what goes on in our school!
Meeting Ms. Estrada
Hello I am your child's teacher and I graduated from the University of Houston. I also have an Associates Degree in Arts and a Small and General Business Certificates from Lone Star College. I was born and raised in Houston TX. In my free time I love going to the gym and spending time with my loved ones. What I bring to the classroom is open arms. I try to make the classroom as comfortable as possible to my students, and myself to where they can ask me questions if they need help. I do set rules and expectations in the classroom to where everyone can and must meet. I really enjoy teaching this grade level because they are at a stage where they are coming out their comfort zone, and exploring new ways and ideas on what they want to do in life. I invite you to my classroom to see what your child learns. Also I would like for you to get to know me so if you have any questions or concerns this would be a great time to get them answered in person.

This month we are having our Cinco de Mayo show
Every month we prepare with our students to put on a show and make school more fun for them. In order to be in the show or be able to go to it, every student has to have a B average or better overall. Also good conduct and no unexcused absences.
This will allow better test scores and a higher percentage rate of students passing to the next level.

Our Cinco de Mayo performance
Our students learn how people dance in Mexico and learn their traditions.
Some of our games to win prizes
We will be having games like this for our students to win prizes and much more.
Teaching our students how to learn spanish
Not only learning a second language can be tricky but we try to make it as fun and exciting as possible.
Some of our up Competitions
Mathletes
Mathletes is a multi-award winning learning resource that encourages students and rewards results – hugely popular with students, teachers, administrators and parents alike.
At the end of the school term we pick our outstanding students who are qualified to go to competition and compete based on their scores on test, homework, and school work.
Spelling Bee
Teachers have there best spellers enroll into the Spelling Bee every year. By picking which students would best represent the school we base it on their reading level, how well they do on spelling test, and their vocabulary skills.
Behind every great student is a great teacher. Teachers make spelling and vocabulary fun. We serve as spelling coaches, moderators and judges, but overall we are simply motivators who encourage the students to be the best they can be.
