curators, researchers, and publishers!
After the interview,
We compared the shark to the orca.
We listed likeness and differences.
I was so proud of how well learners collected new information about sharks and applied their knowledge about orcas to compare and contrast.
Field Day info. from Jessica Shaw
We are so excited about our first Field Day which will be called "Patriot Games" that is coming up Friday, April 29th!!! During the Patriot Games each community will rotate around to different game stations and if you are available to volunteer some of your time, you will be taking each class around for sack races, egg/spoon race & tug of war just to name a few.
The PTSA & Frazer Church have partnered together in sponsoring the "Spring Fling". We will have inflatables, activities & The Pike Road Volunteer Fire Department has a "hands on" activity for the kids!
If you are able to help please email your community coordinator back & let her know that you can help with either "Patriot Games", "Spring Fling" or both!
Volunteer parking will be in the Orchards neighborhood on the side streets. Park only on one side of the street. Do not park on the Main Street into the Neighborhood or school. Everyone needs to check in at the office and then head through the cafeteria to the bus parking area to check in at the volunteer table to find out where you will need to go!
Also we are in need of snack items to be donated. We have broken this up by community, if you will please send the item in by April 20th it is greatly appreciated!
