A Message from the Administrator
Greetings MCS Families,
Last week we were hit extremely hard by the Norovirus. It caused a lot of sickness for our students and was highly contagious. We spent the weekend deep cleaning the building and it really cleared things up. A reminder to have students continue to be vigilant about washing hands and keeping them home if they are sick. This will help us from being infected again.
I would like to thank Mrs. Buehler, Ms. Ball, Ms Kintner, and Mrs. Rainer for a fabulous Book-a-bunga last week. We really enjoyed our guest author Annette Pimentel. The classrooms were also greeted by some local guest dinosaurs. Look for these updates on our Facebook page.
Next week is the Open House for Kindergarten admissions for next school year. Please let anyone know, if they are interested in our exceptional kindergarten class, to attend Wednesday, March 4th from 5 pm to 6:30 pm. In addition I will have all school tours on Wednesday, March 11th and 25th from 9:00-10:00 am.
Today we had our annual Spelling Bee. Congratulations to 4th grade winner Michael and 5th grade runner up Becky!!! Michael will represent MCS at the Thirty-fifth Annual Inland Northwest Spelling Bee on Saturday, March 14 at 1:30 p.m. in the Williams Conference Center on LCSC Campus. The winner at that competition will go to Washington D.C. for the Scripps National Spelling Bee in May.
Thank you for our fabulous Pronouncer, Mrs. Buehler and 2 dedicated MCS Judges, Mrs. Kelley and Mr. Francetich. Most importantly thank you to Ms. Bonzo for organizing this the past 6 years.
I hope you all have a great weekend!!!
