Yoga Teacher Training
Coming to Studio Gaia in March
Explore Your Edge ~ Spirit, Mind, Body
Students will study a variety of subjects including postural alignment, teaching methodology, anatomy and physiology, yoga ethics, yoga therapy, and Ayurveda and nutrition.
The program will be certified under Yoga Alliance, and students will be able to register with the organization upon program completion.
Special features of this training will include a visit to Agape Studio in St. Louis for a wall-yoga training session.

Core Teaching Faculty
Victoria Cornelius, E-RYT 200, MD, has always been interested in health and wellness and the miracle of the human body. Victoria completed her 200 hour certification in 2007 and became a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner in January of 2013. She is also trained as Internist and a Pediatrician and integrates her knowledge of health and wellness into her classes.
Emmet Schmelig, E-RYT 500, LMT, attended his first yoga class in 1992 and since then has accumulated thousands of hours teaching yoga and earned Yoga Alliance 500 Experienced teacher status. A lifetime of experience in athletics and interest in physical fitness coupled with his study of yoga, massage therapy and personal training have enhanced his yoga teaching skills. Emmet conducts yoga workshops, yoga retreats in Mexico, and facilitates Yoga Alliance Certified Schools at Prana Yoga St. Louis.
Seabrook Omura, 200 hr E-RYT, received her 200 hr teaching certification from West-East Natural Healing in St. Louis, MO and has had the honor and privilege of studying with many great and master teachers, such as Kino Macgregor, Tias Little, Rod Stryker, Noah Maze, Jodi Blumstein, and Sat Inder Singh Khalsa. Seabrook has since found her path in the tradition set forth by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, and she holds the steadfast belief that a regular yoga practice makes us all stronger, healthier, and more compassionate human beings.
Rhonda Mills, ERYT500, weaves Classical Yoga, Tantra and Ayurveda into her yoga classes, as well as her lifelong experience as a dancer and movement teacher. She is an avidly curious student of body-mind transformation as well as a facilitator for others’ learning, and brings her playful spirit and the joy of discovery to everything she does. Sally Burgess, BS, MBA, Raw Food Educator. Sally is the owner of Studio Gaia and in addition to teaching yoga and Nia, she offers holistic personal training, as well as workshops and coaching on plant based nutrition. Sally received her Raw Food Educator certification from Living Light Institute in Fort Bragg, CA, and recently completed the Whole Food Plant Based Certification offered by the Colin Campbell Foundation through eCornell. Sally aspires to help others achieve deep healing and nourishment through movement and nutrition.

Payment Options
$2200 for those who make a $500 down payment and pay the remainder of three equal payments of $567.
$2340 for those who make a $150 down payment, and make 9-monthly payments of $244.
Your spot for the training will be confirmed once payment or deposit has been received. If a situation calls for a refund, we will make every effort to be fair according to how much of the program has been attended.
