Ways to Initiate Conversations with your Children on Challenging Topics

January 15, 2018

Are you looking for ways to talk to your children about challenging topics such as natural disasters, the current political climate and violence in our society?

"Difficult conversations are a normal part of being a parent of an adolescent. 2017 seemed to up this ante with the tense political climate, prolific sexual scandals, heart-breaking racial division, mass acts of violence and devastating natural disasters," noted Ashley Nolan, Associate Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist at Centennial Counseling Center. The session, led by Nolan, will address how to engage in helpful conversations with adolescents when tackling these issues.

Please join us for an empowering and hope-filled evening on January 15 at The Office, in St. Charles, from 6-8 p.m. Register for the event by clicking here.

You can also learn about other upcoming Parent University and Centennial Counseling offerings and register for them by clicking here.
