MLK Letter From Birmingham Jail
By: Jacob Johnson
Martin Luther King made the citizens of Birmingham realize that even though discrimination doesn't directly affect them doesn't mean it doesn't affect other citizens. Martin Also helped make discrimination not as bad now as it was then. His letter improved how Caucasian(white skinned) people looked at African-Americans mainly in Birmingham as did his non-violent direct action protests. Everywhere in the world there still is discrimination but its really hard to find. Most of the discrimination is usually someone being racist. If it weren't for Martin Luther King then there might be fights between a African-American and a Caucasian person that a Caucasian person started.
