Building Blocks to Success
An exemplar Core Belief: Staff members that have a commitment to children and to the pursue of excellence.
We began Saturday Camp last Saturday with 77 smiley scholars and 17 staff members who happily came with a focus on learning. Kudos for the following staff who spent Saturday morning at school: Ms. Curtis, Ms. Millan, Ms. Mojica, Ms Roth, Ms. Gordon, Ms. Garcia, Ms. Molina, Ms. Martinez, Ms. Serratos, Ms. Lamar, Ms. Ortega, Ms. Teffera, Ms. Hagler, Ms. Logan, Ms. Collier, Ms. Fowler, and Ms. Harrington. Ms. Delmy came in early to open the school for us. Thank you to Ms. Rodriguez, Ms. Zamora, and our volunteers who helped delivered the lunch.
What I liked the most about coming to Saturday School is that these teachers have the unconditional belief on ensuring academic success for each student, a refusal to accept excuses for poor performance, and extending the learning time for students who struggle to meet the grade level standards. The teachers that came in received a jean pass. I invite everyone to join us on board as we continue building blocks to success. We will keep our focus on increasing student achievement and academic performance.
Proud to be an Eagle!
