From Taiwan and currently majoring in Political Science, Lionel enjoys riding the motorcycle. We are glad to have him as an Exchange Participant for our project, Be Extremely Skillful Today!
What will he be doing during the project?
Lionel will be accompanied by the other EPs here in LCTU to facilitate high school conferences which are aimed to develop the students' soft skills.

Oyster Vermicelli
Also known as oyster misua, this is a favorite Taiwanese street food staple. The starchy soup texture is reminiscent of the sweet and sour soup, with vermicelli served in a thickened soup with oysters and pig intestines, topped with a dash of cilantro. To finish it off: a swig of black vinegar and some minced garlic.
Tourist Attractions
Taipei 101, formerly known as the Taipei World Financial Center, is a landmark supertall skyscraper in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. The building was officially classified as the world's tallest from 2004 until 2010. Taipei 101 comprises 101 floors above ground and 5 floors underground and was architecturally created as a symbol of the evolution of technology and Asian tradition.
Festivals
Lantern Festival
Also known as the Shangyuan Festival or Yuanxiao Festival, the Lantern Festival is a celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month in the lunisolar year in the lunar calendar marking the last day of the lunar New Year celebration. According to legend, it was a time to worship Taiyi, the God of Heaven in ancient times. The belief was that the God of Heaven controlled the destiny of the human world.
It is not to be confused with the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrated in Singapore and Malaysia.
