Social Studies and Writing
We are looking at the past and the present. Students have listened to stories and videos about life with the pilgrims. They have been comparing and contrasting their own lives and privileges that they have to children then. Students are working on using commas when writing to separate 3 or more nouns in a list and our writing stamina.

Way to go First Grade!
The little library is almost complete. Thank you Caylee Trussell and family! 1st grade students will be adding their handprints on Monday. Hopefully the library will be available before the start of the year. Over the Thanksgiving holiday please collect books you would like to donate and hang tight for more information on the next step.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
