Kaden's and Kaleb's Volcanoes
By Kaden and Kaleb
Inside The Volcano
The molten rock inside the volcano is filled with gases. It collects inside the magma chamber. In the volcano the pressure gets too high and explodes. Many volcanic rocks in the volcano are rich in silica. A volcano is described as a vent in the Earth's crust.
Lava Flowing
This is lava flowing after a volcano's eruption.

Volcano's Eruption
This is a graphic image of an eruption of a volcano.
There are 4 types of volcanos- including shield, dome, cindercone, and composite volcanoes.
Outside the volcano
After the eruption the volcano looks different because there is a crater on the top. The drifting of a tectonic plate over a hotspot can create a chain of islands. A convergent boundary is a region where two plates collide into each other. A volcano's form is determined on the type of eruption.
