Nurses Corner - Important news and updates
Please welcome Mrs. LaRoche, our new RN. She will be working closely with Mrs. Capistrano to ensure the health and safety of our students.
Nurse Notes for January 17, 2019:
The Flu virus is still alive and making us unwell, including members of our own St.
Anna community. The CDC (Center for Disease Control) reports that this year's
epidemic will continue into May. Yes, that's very late in the year and unusual.
However, the CDC's top two recommendations for prevention are not unusual and
they continue to be (1) the Flu vaccine and (2) frequent hand washing. Every
report that I've read from the CDC emphasizes that "it is not too late to be
vaccinated against this year's Flu virus".
Stay well.
St. Anna's is an Allergy Friendly School
Reach other parents, help our school grow....
Word of mouth is the best advertisement! We hope you will share your experiences on Greatschools, facebook, Twitter and Schooldigger.
Your positive reinforcement is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
We are looking for added Lunch monitors. Parents/Grandparents welcome too. The days we are really looking for are Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays from 12:00-12:25.
Call the office if interested in once a day/month /or even a year...Thank you
