Thoughts from Mrs. Turner...
Flu Season
Please help us by talking to your child about these things:
- washing his/her hands while at school or using sanitizer
- covering mouth when sneezing or coughing
If your child does become sick, please do the following:
- do not send your child back to school until fever free for 24 HOURS
- send a doctor's note upon returning to school to excuse the absences
- If you have questions about your child returning to school, please contact our nurse, Amy Mayhew.
100 Days of School!
Hi parents,
The American Heart Association and the Heart Heroes visited our school last week to kick-off Kids Heart Challenge (formerly Jump Rope for Heart)! Students enjoyed a 3D ride through Heartsville (view it here), which reminds us of how easy it can be to take care of our hearts. We hope you will join us as we work together to support the lifesaving mission of the American Heart Association by downloading the Kids Heart Challenge App or going to www.heart.org/kidsheartchallenge to register, take a healthy challenge, and start fundraising!
Our school has set a goal to raise $10,000. If we hit that goal, then the top 2 fundraisers get to slime Mrs. Turner and Mrs. Williams.
