Friend – Request
Tuesday, November 15th from 12-2 pm / Mobius Hall & Art Gallery
Join CSG and your fellow Kodiaks at the premier friendship-forming event of the year! Formally known as “Speed Friending”, “Friend Request” is seeking to take all of the aspects of the previous event that seasoned Kodiaks know and love, and improve by adding more activities for a greater variety of tastes. We are debuting two brand new activities within this event that will make you want to let out your inner child, curious what they are? Only one way to find out! (Hint, hint: one involves a ball pit and the other, Nerf Dart Launchers!) All are welcome to attend, especially first year students! Worried that the event is during lunch time and you’ll go hungry? Worry not. There will be pizza, popcorn and candy provided. This is one event you surely do not want to miss!
What happened last week?
Spooktacular!!!
DID YOU KNOW?
-Trick-or-treating evolved from the ancient Celtic tradition of putting out treats and food to placate spirits who roamed the streets at Samhain, a sacred festival that marked the end of the Celtic calendar year.
-Samhainophobia is the fear of Halloween.
QUOTE OF THE WEEK
The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.
- H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
JOKE OF THE WEEK
There is nothing funny about Halloween. This sarcastic festival reflects, rather, an infernal demand for revenge by children on the adult world.
-Jean Baudrillard
