Photon Summer Camp 2016 at University of Rochester

University of Rochester summer 2016 Photon Camp provides High School students with a free study of optics at a world class institution. The camp runs from July 11-15.


The application deadline is May 27. There is no charge for participation in Photon Camp 2016. No college credit will be awarded for completing Photon Camp. Photon Camp alumni are eligible for University of Rochester Early Connection Scholarships.

Strong Memorial Summer Volunteering

Strong Memorial Hospital's popular summer volunteer program is open to any student age 14 (By July 1) or older. The 8-week program runs from July 11 through September 3. It will require 3-4 hours per week.


Interested students or parents should call The Friends of Strong Office at 275-2420 to schedule a placement appointment on Tuesday, May 3 starting at 8:30 AM until all appointment slots are filled. Telephone calls will not be answered prior to 8:30 AM on that day. Due to the enormous popularity of the Summer High School Program, please continue calling if the lines are busy.

Career Exploration: Accounting

Get a preview of the accounting professional and college life! Career Opportunities in the Accounting Professional (COAP) is a four-day summer program for current high school juniors going into their senior year.



The COAP is free at RIT from June 26-June 29.
