My favorite thing about Seton were the sports opportunities. I always had so much fun competing in volleyball and basketball. Great memories of school include participating in the Seton Musicals. I will be going to Roncalli High School in the fall.
Welcome Laurin Davis! Our New First Grade Teacher for 20-21
I have worked with children in early childhood centers throughout my first college experience at Lakeland University. After graduating from Lakeland University with a bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management and Criminal Justice; I realized my passion was in education. With the help and support of my family and friends, I embarked on the journey to get my teaching license at UW-Oshkosh.
While studying Early Elementary Education, I was a special education aide. During my course work at UW-Oshkosh, I completed practicums in Kindergarten, Third Grade, and completed my student teaching experience in Second Grade. Recently, I have completed long-term substitute assignments in First Grade and Guidance.
I was born and raised in Sheboygan. In my free time, I like spending time with my two dogs, Jackson and Leo as well as my family.
A Special Thank You
Dear Seton Community,
As I approach the one year anniversary of my major medical scare, I find myself reflecting on
how God showed up in my time of need through all of you. Between the calls, messages, visits,
meals, cards, prayers, donations, and extra hugs four our lonely girls, we are all so very
extremely humbled and thankful for your generosity and kindness. We’d like to send a special
thank you to Home and School for organizing the meal train and Sign Up Genius. No words can
explain our gratefulness for your graciousness! My multiple sclerosis diagnosis journey has
been a rollercoaster like no other. Even in remission, there are good days and terrible days.
Our family is learning together to run with the good days and bear through those terrible ones.
Thank you for taking the time to read this long overdue letter. I will never find the right words to
express my gratitude and love for you all.
May God Bless you all,
John, Anna, Kaitlyn, Emily, and Vivian Geary
No VBS This Year
Dear Parents.
I am sorry to say that we will not be able to have our Vacation Bible School this summer. We cannot be gathered together in large groups as we would need to be. We looked into some online alternatives, but they didn't seem that they would work the best for us.
We have been posting some activities, especially related to the Sunday Gospel on our Facebook page and hopefully, you have also been seeing Fr. Matthew's reflections for children.
Do let me know if there are any other resources or ideas you would like.
We haven't heard when we can celebrate our First Eucharist Masses yet, but I will let you know when I hear something.
Praying for God's blessings on you and your families.
Edie
