Hawk Happenings!
HRBA
Happy Wednesday!
Can you believe that we are on our 10th week of Trimester 1 with only about 3 weeks left to go. The kids (and teachers) are settling into our return to hybrid learning. We know that everyone prefers for us all to be together full days on site, but it looks like we will be in this model for a bit. As of yesterday, the case count for COVID was 143.8/100,000. Remember that we need to drop below 75/100,000 to return to full in person learning. I do have a "Private School Call" with the Tacoma Pierce County Health Dept on Friday, so I will let you know if there are any important updates. I know this is not easy and want to thank all of our families for doing your best to get your kids here during cohorts. We are making every effort to adjust our schedules to allow access for all children to onsite learning, while providing additional days/hours to particularly "at risk" children. Parenting is never easy, but I know that it has been especially challenging during this COVID situation. So, give yourself a big hug for all you are doing for your kids. Together, we can continue to help our children achieve growth in all areas (academic, social/behavioral, spiritual), even in these unusual times! Please carefully read through the rest of this newsletter for some important upcoming events and links to fall conferences.
Have a wonderful (wet) week!
Blessings,
Katie Dempsey
