This Week in S-3
It's Friday! Woo hoo! Please check your child's green folder daily and empty out any papers that come home. Over the next few weeks we will be doing several cute projects. I can't make the bulletin boards fast enough! I have to tell you that the compliments your children are getting on their writing and art work have been overwhelming. I am so proud of them.
Remember that there is no school on Monday in honor of Presiden't Day. Please continue to read and do xtramath several times over the long weekend.
The children will be having a math test next week. Please review counting coin combinations of nickels, pennies, and dimes; telling time half past the hour, and measuring to the nearest inch. Please review the study sheet that went home last night in the green folder.
It is going to be SOO cold this weekend! Stay warm and safe!
Gung Hay Fat Choy!
Happy New Year to all who celebrate the Lunar New Year. We welcomed the Year of The Monkey with so many fun activities. Most of all, we learned about other cultures and how they celebrate. I shared how my family eats a big dinner together and some of the dishes I know how to make. Ask your child to show you their chop stick skills! They were very proud!
Celebrating 100 days of joy!
We had so much fun celebrating the 100th day of school. It has truly been 10o days of learning, laughter and love. Click the link below to visit the first grade website and to view a short movie of our day.
Happy Valentine's Day!
We ended this crazy week with a "sweet" day of Valentine's activities. I just want to say Happy Valentine's Day! My 17 little Valentine's are the best in the world!
