Glenwood Bright Lights
Happy Holidays!
CBS 58 Visit
Chief Meteorologist Drew Burgoyne of CBS 58 visited Glenwood this week. He talked to the students about the importance of tornado safety. The students' favorite part was when he did a demonstration about how a tornado is created. See the news link below for the video.

Second Graders Helping Others
A big thank you to anyone who donated items, money, or time helping our second graders with their service project. Mrs. Dixon and Mr. Hecht's classrooms made and packed 150 lunches to deliver to families in need over the holiday!
GEF Bowling Fundraiser
See the flyer below for details about the event. Glenwood has received many grants through the GEF to help fund classroom projects. This is a fun event and the Foundation is a big supporter of Glenwood teachers and students.
Holiday Sing Along
We had our annual school wide sing-a-long on Thursday. Mrs. Dropp did a great job playing guitar and leading festive songs for our students. It was fun way to get the entire school community together.
