Observation

Disney world was created by Walt Disney and was opened on October 1, 1971.

Hypothesis

Walt Disney first created Disneyland in Anaheim, California. He figured since it was such a success, he could find another location, even bigger than his Disneyland location and build another park.

Experiment

Walt Disney found a location in Orlando, Florida that is 30,500 acres and built Walt Disney world, which consisted of 4 parks, 2 water parks, 27 themed hotels, 9 non-Disney hotels, a downtown shopping complex, and other entertainment venues.

Conclusions

Walt Disney World was, and still is, a huge success. Magic Kingdom with an average of 53,000 visitors a day, a total of 19,332,000 visits a year, making Disney's Magic Kingdom the #1 theme park in the world. EPCOT with an average of 31,380 visitors a day, a total of 11,454,000 visits a year, making Disney's EPCOT the #6 theme park in the world. Animal Kingdom with an average of 28,498 visits a day, a total of 10,402,000 visits a year, making Disney's Animal Kingdom the #8 theme park in the world. Hollywood studios, with an average of 28,252 visits a day, a total of 10,312,000 visits a year, making Disney's Hollywood Studios the #8 theme park in the world.
