ISTEP + Applied Skills!
Phew! We made it through the first round of ISTEP testing. This round was the applied skills portion in which the kids had to show their skills in problem solving, reading comprehension, and written responses. Everyone worked hard and gave a good effort! Thank you to all that donated snacks and water for this round. It definitely helped the kids have a more positive attitude towards our testing blocks. During the week of March 14-18, 3rd graders will take the IREAD test.
Shayla, Thomas, Tristan, and Ashli are helping to destroy all of our ISTEP worries before testing started.
A picture of our classroom before we started taking the practice test. The kids thought it was AWESOME to have the desks in rows. Hmmm...
The kids had lots of relaxation time to read and write after testing. Here is Mason, immersed in a good book!
