Field Day Activities: Our Open National Field Day - Virtual Event begins Monday June 7th. Please see the attached message from Mr. Eng which includes the overview and directions for the event. Our In-person Field Day activities will take place on Tuesday June 8th. These activities will be coordinated by our Cooper staff. We encourage all Cooper Students to show their School Spirit by wearing our Cooper Colors, Royal Blue and White for Tuesday's Field Day events.

5th Grade Day: We are planning a special day for our fifth graders as they prepare for their transition to middle school. On June 10th we will play our 5th Grade vs. Staff Kickball Game (touchless of course:), we will do our handprints, listen to music, take photos, and more. More information will be shared as we get closer to the event.

Virtual Classroom Parties: All class parties will be virtual this year. Parties will be held on Tuesday June 15th 2:00-3:00pm. Our PTA Room Parent Volunteers will host the virtual parties with support from our teaching staff. Please reach out to your class room parent if you would like to assist with this event.

5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony: Our 5th grade moving up ceremony will be held outdoors on June 15, 2021 beginning at 9:30am. Weather permitting, immediate family members are cordially invited to join us. However, should the weather be inclement—given space limitations, coupled with the current indoor restrictions—the event will be held indoors for students and staff only. We are requesting that parents and guardians bring outdoor chairs for the event. We will have some chairs available as needed. Please see the attached invitation for additional details.

Support for Families:

Summer Reading 2021: One of our district’s primary goals is to develop lifelong readers and learners. Summer reading is an opportunity for students to practice the comprehension, analytical, and note-taking skills learned throughout the year while reading a thought-provoking and enjoyable book. For this reason, we like to offer students a variety of books from which to select.

The assignments for each grade level are included on the Middle School and High School links, as well as some resources and guides to help you and your child.

Thank you for encouraging your child’s reading. We look forward to building on the foundation you have helped establish during the summer.
