Cimarron Middle School Newsletter - November 13, 2015
Colts Chronicle provides information to parents, students, staff, and community.
Dear Cimarron Community,
At Cimarron we have many things to be thankful for. It is easy to take the little things for granted when we have so much, but we are often reminded that the little things we do and say are what leads us to succeed and grow as individuals. This week I want to say thank you to all of you for the consistent support you offer to our students and staff on a daily basis. Veterans Day at Cimarron made a positive impact on so many in our community. The amount of community support we receive through volunteering, attending school events such as plays and athletics, donations for classrooms, encouraging words to staff members are only a few of the many little things we are thankful for! As Thanksgiving nears, the Cimarron Staff would like to thank you for everything you do for our students.
We have a few important reminders for you to consider as the weather cools off. The first is regarding procedures for students who become sick during the school day. Students need to report to the nurse in the main office before contacting parents. Many students try to text their parents in class or call. This is disruptive to the learning environment. We ask that you discuss this and let your student know that he/she needs to come to the nurse's office to call home. Secondly, the lost and found pile has grown and will be out on tables this week. If your son or daughter has lost any items, please have them look though the lost and found. At the end of the week, the rest of the items will be donated.
