One adaptation is camouflage, camouflage is an adaptation that allows an organism to blend in with their surroundings. Chameleons use camouflage in multiple ways. They use it to catch prey and hide from predators

Prey and predators

Chameleons have very few prey, they mostly eat food like berries and leaves. They do eat small animals. some of them are snails, flies, other insects, and some big chameleons will eat small mammals. Chameleons can use camouflage to sneak up on it's prey. Chameleons also have predators, some examples are birds, snakes, and some mammals.
