Endeavour Elementary- Week 6

Week 6 Update!

Hello Endeavour Jaguars! As we adjust to the new normal of school at home, the Specialist team has decided to follow classroom teachers lead and post directly to classes on Seesaw. This newsletter will serve as a reminder of activities from PE and Music and will also contain links you will need in case the Seesaw post is buried! We will send out the newsletter on Wednesday morning each week.

Health and Fitness with Mrs. Skogstad and Mrs. Marsh

Week 6 Update with Mrs. Skogstad

Hello Endeavour Jaguar Families! You can find all links/resources to keep staying active on our connect websites. Mrs. Marsh’s PE connect site & Mrs. Skogstad’s PE connect site. You can also access our websites through CLEVER. Just look for your PE teachers name on the links page.

Be sure to check out the simple weekly activities we post on Seesaw & our websites. We will post new things by Friday morning each week to be completed the following week. This allows you time to tell us what you are doing for fitness at home. Stay happy & healthy. We miss you all!

Week 6 Update with Mrs. Marsh

Hello Jaguars! It is unbelievable that we are on week 6 of remote learning. I so miss your sweet faces. Again, we want to make sure that our lessons are simple for you and your parents to monitor. Once a week on Friday morning, we will post our Fitness Log and Activity Sheet for the following week. You will see the Fitness sheet is super simple. All you need to do is write down whatever activity you did for the day. YOU get to choose! It can be riding your scooter, bike, walking with your family, or as simple as playing in your back yard.

You can access this through Seesaw and our Website. I hope that this will be a better way to track your fitness. Take a picture of your activity sheet or fitness log and email it to me. MarshE@issaquah.wednet.edu. Thanks so much for all you are doing and we hope you are doing well and staying healthy!

Library Update with Mrs. Skosky

Week 6 Update

Hello Endeavour Jaguars! Library activities and read alouds will be posted as Seesaw Announcements on students regularly scheduled library day. These read alouds and activities are not a part of the new Essential New Learning plan and nothing will be required to turn back in to me. I certainly hope, though, that you enjoy the read alouds since I really enjoy reading to your kiddos!
I will also continue to post any fun activities that I think might be helpful or students would enjoy here as well. We have gone over a lot of different resources! It can definitely be overwhelming. Please reach out if you are having trouble or would like more info.

This week, a website that my 2nd grader has really been enjoying - Jarrett Lerner's activities webpage. Jarrett Lerner is an artist and writer of children's books. He has a lot of easy, fun activities on his website if your child likes to doodle and is in need of a brain break!

Thanks for Reading!
