Diagnose, research, or treat diseases and injuries of animals. Includes vets who conduct research and development, inspect livestock, or care for pets and companion animals.
Conducts research in the genetics, nutrition, reproduction, growth, and development of domestic farm animals.
Perform medical tests in a laboratory environment for use in the treatment and diagnosis of diseases in animals. Prepare vaccines and serums for prevention of diseases. Prepare tissue samples, take blood samples, and execute laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood counts.
Education- 2 year college degree
